At the end of every school year, each student at MUSD has the opportunity to accelerate past one year of math for the upcoming year.

CURRENT SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS:

If you are planning to attempt acceleration at the end of this school year, please ensure you spend this year preparing for the test!

• Current Math 7 students: study Math 8 material to attempt to take IM1 next year.
• Current Math 8A students: study Math 8 material to attempt to take IM2 next year.

CURRENT EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS:

Testing for acceleration occurs at the end of the summer at MHS. Be on the lookout for more information in the second semester regarding registering for Math Jam courses and submitting your intent to participate in acceleration testing!
