Enrollment and Registration Information
2022 - 2023 Enrollment and Registration Information
Families new to Milpitas Schools will need to enroll their student(s) in the school district before they are able to register them.
Every school year, all MUSD students need to register. The majority of this process is done online, and families should not attempt to start this process until August 1st to avoid issues. More information can be found at the bottom of this page.

There are two basic steps for yearly registration at the beginning of the school year.
Step #1: Starting August 1st, returning MUSD families should click MUSD Yearly Registration, or simply log into Aeries Parent Portal at go.musd.org. Once there, go through the Data Confirmation steps and at the very end, please print out the Emergency card and make certain to sign and date it. If you need help accessing your portal, we will hold a parent training August 2nd at 6pm in our gym.
Step #2: Bring signed copy of emergency card to Registration.
7th Grader Registration - August 3rd: With the new COVID variant, masks are still strongly recommended to ensure the safety of all. Families must bring a signed copy of Emergency Card and students will take a yearbook photo, tour our campus and receive four items: a Russell student ID card, a Chromebook, a class schedule, and a CDPH Over The Counter, Take Home Antigen Test. Once registration is complete, students will leave campus.
8th Grader Registration - August 4th: The same as 7th grade, except 8th graders will not receive a Chromebook since they still have the one they received last school year.
In order to find what elementary or middle school is associated with a street address for school attendance, click on the MUSD School Locator Link. This will take you to the School Vision Website.
Please refer to directions on their site.
Note: All high school students attend Milpitas High School.
