8th Grade Promotion Policy

To participate in the TRMS Promotion Ceremony, 8th grade students must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 1.75 over two semesters and avoid any suspensions during the 2nd semester. Understand, any student whose 1st semester GPA is lower than 1.75 will need a significantly higher 2nd semester GPA to attain the required cumulative GPA.
